A peaceful valley backdrop complete with tree-lined fairways is home to the AAA Four Diamond Rancho Bernardo Inn and the 18-hole championship Resort Course. The traditional layout originally opened in 1962 and recently underwent renovation to ensure that it will continue to present a modern challenge for today's golfer.

As the only golf course in San Diego to have hosted both PGA and LPGA events, the Resort Course is now sought out by golfers in search of a memorable and enjoyable round with the gracious, genuine service offered by the renowned resort.

Only 25 minutes north of the airport, this 265-acre resort, offers two sparkling pools; six hydrospas; 12 tennis courts and a fitness center with spa facilities. There are 288 oversized deluxe guestrooms, each with their own patio or balcony . Gourmet meals are served in two award-winning restaurants, the renowned Zagat-rated El Bizcocho providing fine French dining. The West Course, in a mature setting with immaculate course conditions, has two natural lakes and strategically-placed bunkers to test all golfers. There are new mounds and trees, spectacular Augusta-white sand filling the over 50 newly -altered bunkers and two brand new tee placements that make it more playable for the average golfer and more challenging from the championship tees for the good golfer. The 90 more holes of golf nearby create a myriad of spectacular challenges for golfers of every skill level. The West Course has two natural lakes and strategically-placed bunkers to test all golfers. Spectacular Augusta-white sand fills the newly-altered bunkers. Two brand new tee placements make it more playable for the average golfer and more challenging for the good golfer. The Golf University, providing group and individual golf tuition, is housed at the Rancho Bernardo Inn.
