“The 13th hole is a downhill, 423-yard par four that features a prominent bluff running across the
fairway. The left side of the fairway is flanked along its entire length with a dense eucalyptus woodland. For most players, the safe tee shot is to the top of the bluff leaving them a downhill,
middle iron approach into the green. A more aggressive player can try to drive the ball over the bluff but accuracy is the key as there are trees and dunes that will grab the wayward shot. Keep your
drive to the left side of the fairway and you’ll have the best angle, and easiest shot into the green but
be wary of those trees. If your tee shot is too far right, you’ll have to approach over a large bunker guarding the front of the green. The green sits slightly up from the fairway and is nestled within a
complex of dunes. There is a bailout area to the right of the green for a missed approach shot, but it will require a delicate recovery shot up and over those dunes to a mildly undulating green.”
“The difficult Par 4, 470 yard, 9th Hole has trouble right & left. The hole starts off from an elevated
tee where an accurate drive is a must to avoid the hazards that flank both side of the fairway – a lake on the right and a large bunker on the left. The approach shot demands a long carry over the lake
and is possibly the most challenging on the course.”
