Since it’s opening in 1992, the Golden Bear at Indigo Run has become a “Must Play” for Hilton Head Island. This Nicklaus designed course is well known for
its Low Country beauty & its wide variety of shot-making requirements.
The Golden Bear is the ONLY course on the island to offer a state-of-the-art
ParView GPS Electronic Caddy System on every cart. With many technological features, the system aids the golfer with full color features, such as overviews
of each hole, pro tips on how to best play the hole, current pin placement, live scoring for groups and more!

Appropriate golf attire is required at all times. For gentlemen this includes shirts with collars and sleeves, slacks or golf shorts, and traditional metal or soft-spiked shoes. Inappropriate attire for gentlemen include tee shirts, tank tops,
any type of denim (jeans) trousers or shorts, any type of athletic shorts or warm-ups, bathing suits, street shoes.
Appropriate attire for ladies includes golf shirts, slacks, golf shorts, skirts and metal or soft-spiked shoes.
Inappropriate attire for ladies includes tank tops, halter tops, tee shirts, short shorts, stretch pants, any type of athletic shorts or warm-ups, bathing suits, street shoes.
Junior golfers must adhere to the same rules of dress as adults.
Although denim is allowed in the Clubhouse, no denim is allowed on the golf course or driving range at anytime.
